On the brink of suicide, trapped under $400,000 of student loan debt, Joy Anderson thought the only way out was to end her own life.
Overworked, overweight, and dying of mom guilt, she begged God to show her the next step. In her darkest hour, she received a vision of her living her best life and homeschooling her kids in the mountains, lakes, and evergreens. Walking in faith, she moved her family from the deserts of Arizona to an 8-acre ranch in North Idaho, where their 1932 homestead sat on a mountain covered in evergreens, next to a lake. Her dream quickly turned into a nightmare though, and over the next year she nearly lost her husband, her children, and her very own life. In an ending even she could never have predicted, she finally discovers that her vision was never meant to be her final destination. Rather, it was simply the next right step to lead her out of the darkness and into her purpose.
